About me
About my path into gynecology
I was born in Salzburg and grew up in Leopoldskron. I spent my school years at Morzg elementary school and at Herz-Jesu-Gymnasium Liefering. My desire to work close to people eventually led me from my civilian service with the Red Cross to studying medicine at the PMU Salzburg.
My fascination with the field of gynecology was instilled in me by my father, Wolfgang Kofler, who practiced as a gynecologist in Salzburg city for decades. I have been working at the University Women’s Clinic Salzburg since 2018.
I have been married to my wife Anna since 2021 and am the proud father of our son Emil. I prefer to enjoy my free time with my family and friends. I love to travel and am an avid sportsman – in particular, I am a passionate tennis player.
